Welcome Back to the 2027 Metro Awards!
Dear Directors and Producers,
Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful and restorative summer, and that you're feeling recharged and ready to create some theatre magic this year.
We're thrilled to share that the 2027 Metro Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 14, 2027 at Purchase College. It's never too early to save the date!
Registration is now officially open. You can register your school here:

Please note that registration and payment are due by January 15, 2027.
We'd love your help making this year's Metros the biggest and best yet. Please spread the word to colleagues and programs who might be interested in joining us. The more schools that take part, the more students we get to celebrate.
We're also busy behind the scenes refining our award categories, and we're exploring the addition of a new Social Media and Publicity category to recognize the students who work so hard to get audiences in the seats. More details to come!
Best of luck with your fall productions. We can't wait to see all the incredible work your students bring to the stage this year.
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
