The 2026 Metropolitan High School Theater Awards on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center is now sold out.
There are no remaining tickets available for purchase by the general public.
Each participating school received an allocation of tickets for nominees, performers, families, and supporters. If you are hoping to attend, please contact your school's theater director to inquire whether any tickets remain available through your school.
If you are unable to attend in person, we invite you to join us via our livestream. Coverage of the Red Carpet will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the Metropolitan High School Theater Awards Ceremony at 7:30 PM.

Friday, May 15, 2026 – Emails regarding Opening Number participants and merchandise pre-orders will be sent.

Monday, May 18, 2026 – The Metro Nominations are announced

Tuesday May 19, May 27, 202) – Directors and producers will receive an email with information on ticket allotments, the student contact form, and overall performances at the Metro Ceremony (if applicable).

Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM – Student Contact Forms are due.

Friday, May 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM – Ticket Allotment Forms are due.

Monday, June 1, 2026 – Emails will be sent to students with information about Metro Weekend events.

2025 WINNERS & NOMINEES
The Metro Awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional musical theater productions, talented actors and actresses and devoted creative teams who take to the stage every spring in high schools in Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Bergen counties.
All nominees and winners in all categories are listed along with the production and their school. After the winners are announced at the Metro the Awards Ceremony, the winners will be highlighted along with this year's nominees.
Professional photos and a full video recording of the 2025 Awards Ceremony are now available for purchase.
